Successful completion of six-week Correctional Academy which included training, but not limited to, firearm safety, chemical agents, and use of force.

Annual training consisting of practices, policies, and protocols involving all aspects of Correctional Officers and Correctional Staff duties, roles, and responsibilities. 

Completion of 24 hours of training in effective interviewing techniques designed to illicit complete responses and ascertain valuable information. 

Successful completion of 24 hours including a wide scope of legal updates on the topics including, but not limited to, court orders, depositions, inmate file reviews, production of records,  and witness appearances. 

Completion of 8 hour training on use of inmate file portal which includes but not limited to: effective navigation of portal site of inmate files, case factors, legal, classification, disciplinary, and board reports.

Successful completion of 24 hours including a wide scope of legal updates on the topics including, but not limited to, court orders, depositions, inmate file reviews, production of records,  and witness appearances.
